Auctions: A Different Marketing Approach

At North American Auctioneers we make Marketing Real estate for auction EXCITING!!! Our goal to attract as many buyers as possible for your property in the time available. In marketing the properties for auction it is important to convey to the buyer the sense of urgency and the opportunity they have in becomming a bidder at the auction. We have had buyers attend our auctions from California and other states in the USA, Holland, and many cities throughout Ontario. We also have an extensive list of purchasers throughout north american who recieve notification of our upcoming auctions through emails, faxes or direct mail. These are people who have the ability to purchase properties "NOW",  With NO CONDITIONS, and with a CLOSING AS SOON AS 15 DAYS.

No One understands marketing real estate for auction better than the trained staff of North American Auctioneers. Here are a few of the ways we market properties at North American Auctioneers that get our properties SOLD!!!!

PROPERTY SIGNS:         Our Property signs are 8' x 8'!!! That's right; the sign on the front of your property will be 8 feet high and 8 feet wide. Ok! There may also me some smaller signs, depending on the location of the property and we may also use banners, again depending on location and type of property. They are 24 hour per day mini billboards. Our clients have often commented that as soon as the property sign was placed on the property there were people slowing down and writing the contact numbers down to call for a bidder's package. Our property signs attract attention!

The TIM HORTON'S Sign!      We advertise at one of the busiest Tim Horton drive-throughs in London (Horton Street and Wellington). There are over 3000 cars per day that will see your property advertised on our Tim Horton's sign with plenty of time to write down all of the information about your property.

DIRECTIONS:    Many properties we auction are hidden inside subdivisions. For this reason we use "House 4 Auction" "Land Auction" and other similar signs with arrows to attract people to your property. Pure curiosity will often drive people to follow the signs to your property. The more people that see your property the more "buzz is created for your property the more buyers attend the auction the more money you get.

MAILERS:     Through our mail lists and the contact lists that we have developed we are able to contact over 60000 potential purchasers and Realtors® throughout Canada. And if we need to narrow our search or purchase more or differant contacts than what we already have for your property; we are able to purchase lists from INFO Canada at extremely inexpensive rates because of the number of contacts we purchase each year.

INTERNET:         International exposure. Everyone knows that the internet can be a fantastic marketing tool if used properly but very few people know how to truely market on the internet. Through our memberships, designations and our decades of experience marketing real estate we know which real estate sites your properties should be on in order to get the most attention throughout the world.

MARKETING PROPOSALS:   Before "listing" your property for auction with North American Auctioneers we will pinpoint not only the most likely buyers to purchase your property but we will also outline how we will reach these buyers in the most cost effective way to ensure that you know what is being done to market your property and ensure that on auction day your property sells for as much money possible with NO conditions and a fast closing. You will know each step of the way what is being done to sell your property.

PRINT MEDIA:        It would probably be easier to list the publications we have not advertised in than to list the ones we have used in our marketing.  This depends on the type of property or business we are marketing, location and unique characteristics.  For your information we can provide a list of print media we have used, locally, nationally as well as internationally over the past several years.

RADIO MEDIA: 

    We are also involved in two radio talk shows in the London area (one on Radio 980  and the other on 1290 CJBK reaching thousands of listeners on an ongoing basis. Future expansion calls for another Radio show in the Hamilton market area.  These shows are designed to provide information not only on our properties but also on the overall process of Selling by Auction and Buying @ Auction.
