Michael, being the visionary behind North American Auctioneers started his Real Estate career in 1989 in London, Ontario, working in the conventional real estate model, with a national real estate franchise.

President of Majorcorp Properties in 1991, a real estate management company focused on residential properties.

Became an Associate Broker in 1993

Working for 7 years with a large conventional real estate brokerage, Michael Marienwald was determined to find a more serviced approach to marketing and selling real estate.

Started Anchor Real Estate Investment Corp. in 1997, offering sales and management services to both residential and commercial clients.

Recieved real estate auctioneer certificate in 1999

Opened North American Auctioneers in 1999

Received AARE acreditation in real estate from San Antonio, Texas in 2003.

Started teaching real estate
auctioneering at Southwestern School of Auctioneering in 2004
Over the years Michael Marienwald has auctioned most types of real estate, including vacant land, arenas, commercial and retail plazas, churches and church properties, residential subdivision lands, and residential properties from $60,000. and up.
Michael Marienwald has been featured in articles in both The London Free Press and London Business Magazine.
Currently there are 2 radio interview shows running on "How-to-Auction Real Estate", one on Radio 980 and the other is 1290 CJBK in London, Ontario. Expansion plans call for another radio show in the Hamilton area in 2006.
